Abstract Transformer core fault is one of the common faults, and monitoring early warning an important research topic. An method transformer clamp disconnection based on a random forest algorithm proposed. Firstly, values parameters under different working conditions are measured, parameter-state data set established. Secondly, features processed reduced in dimension, with high correlation selected. Finally, classification model training established to identify iron clamp.
